# Staff Team

The Staff Team of Siege of Midgard RO is responsible for keeping the server fair, stable, and enjoyable for everyone. They help manage the community, enforce the rules, respond to reports, and support the continued growth of the server.

This page introduces the role of the staff team and explains how players should interact with them.

### Purpose of the Staff Team

The staff team exists to support the server and its players.

Their responsibilities include:

* Enforcing server rules
* Assisting with player concerns
* Handling bug and exploit reports
* Monitoring fairness and balance
* Supporting events and server activities
* Helping maintain a healthy community environment

A good staff team helps make the server more organized, more trustworthy, and more enjoyable for everyone.

### What Staff Members Do

Depending on their role, staff members may help with different parts of the server.

These duties may include:

* Answering player questions
* Investigating reports
* Assisting with technical issues
* Resolving disputes when necessary
* Monitoring cheating, abuse, or exploit behavior
* Managing events or announcements
* Coordinating server updates and maintenance

Not every staff member may handle every type of issue, but all official staff members are there to support the server.

### Respect the Staff Team

Players are expected to treat staff members with respect, just as they should treat other players with respect.

When speaking with staff:

* Be polite and clear
* Provide the necessary details when reporting an issue
* Avoid spamming or demanding immediate responses
* Cooperate during investigations or rule enforcement

Staff are here to help, but respectful communication makes everything easier for both sides.

### Staff Are Not Above the Rules

Staff members are expected to act professionally and responsibly.

Their role is to help protect the server, not to abuse authority. If there are concerns involving staff behavior, those should be raised properly through the correct contact or reporting channels.

A strong server community depends on fairness and accountability from everyone.

### Do Not Impersonate Staff

Pretending to be a GM, moderator, admin, or helper is strictly prohibited.

This includes:

* Using misleading names
* Claiming to speak on behalf of staff
* Giving fake staff instructions
* Threatening players with false authority

Impersonation creates confusion and may lead to penalties.

### When to Contact Staff

You should contact staff if you need help with matters such as:

* Bug reports
* Exploit reports
* Harassment or toxic behavior
* Scams or suspicious player activity
* Rule violations
* Account-related concerns
* Technical issues affecting gameplay

Try to include useful details such as screenshots, character names, map names, or a clear description of the problem whenever possible.

### Things Staff Usually Will Not Handle

Staff may not always intervene in situations that are part of normal gameplay, especially if they do not involve rule-breaking.

Examples may include:

* Normal PvP losses
* Fair market competition
* Player mistakes in regular gameplay
* Situations without enough proof or information

Players are still encouraged to ask if they are unsure whether something should be reported.

### How to Help the Staff Team

Players can support the staff team by helping maintain a healthy server environment.

You can help by:

* Following the rules
* Reporting problems honestly
* Avoiding exploit abuse
* Respecting other players
* Giving useful feedback
* Being patient during support or investigations

A server runs better when staff and players work together.

### Staff List

This section can be updated later once your official team list is finalized.

Example format:

* **Server Owner:** \[ADMIN] Allfather and \[ADMIN] Aegis
* **Developer / Administrator:** \[Dev] Heimdall, \[Dev] Oblivion, \[Dev] Tanaka, \[Dev] ѕтєιnαя
* **Moderator:** \[DM] Athena

If you want, you can also divide the team by responsibility, such as management, technical support, events, and community moderation.

### Final Reminder

The staff team is here to help protect the quality of Siege of Midgard RO and support the player community.

Please respect the team, follow official instructions, and use the proper channels when you need help.
